So - the pressure's on to sell myself (in a non-prostitute way, officer) in this tiny little space. Let me start by welcoming you to my journal. It's not going to be much more than a sneaky peek into the world of a twenty-five year old woman who thinks too much and sometimes says too little. Wait - who the hell am I kidding? You can't get me to shut the hell up, as I'll now go on to demonstrate.
I recently came back from seven months of travelling around the world. It was the most amazing thing I have ever done and highly recommend it. I'm currently finding ways to get back on the road as soon as I can - plans are always in motion for the next opportunity to pack my bag and explore the world. Before I do that though, I have to find a sawn off shotgun so I can rob that bank. Anyone who knows someone with one I could use should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 immediately.
I'm really good at rambling, being random and making people laugh at (note: not with) me. I seem to have "Being Clumsy" down to a tee. No really - only recently I managed to fall over and rip my trousers off in front of several thousand people. I could tell the truth and say there were actually only 10 or so people looking at me, but that doesn't have the same effect. Anyway I learnt all about life's sense of humour that day. Oh how I laughed.
My Favourite Books, Movies, Music, and Food are:
(A) Anything that makes me laugh. Random names that spring to mind are Bill Bryson, John O'Farrell, Tony Hawks and Nick Hornby. Not that I like any of them, they're just random names.
(B) Garden State, Beautiful Girls, La Haine, Naked Gun, Don't Look Now, Austin Powers, anything directed by Kevin Smith - Clerks and Chasing Amy in particular.
(C) Quite difficult to define my taste really as it's pretty eclectic. I like Ben Folds, The Fratellis, The Feeling, i Monster, Finn Brothers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jet, Barenaked Ladies, Crowded House, Fountains of Wayne, REM - loads!
(D) Sadly pretty much everything and anything... hehe!
My life is taken up with inane conversations, slapstick and the general confusion of everyone else around me. I like it that way. I spend a lot of time thinking up crazy plans that I know will never happen but knowing the world would be a better place if they did. The rest of my time is filled with laughing at inappropriate moments and wondering why no one else finds me as funny as I do.
People have stopped listening to anything I say now so instead I find myself writing this crap down. I love writing and hope to one day make some pocket money out of it. I also love to dance and do it whenever I can. Well, I call it dancing - others might call it "spasming". Picky.
